Wonder if those men are based on has a bit of a caricature.

You can't beat a bit of Reg Parlett joyful artwork at Christmas..

I'm glad Jim saw my website and blog posts on his work and it was nice chatting by email to him...I love his work its so animated and full of action...also brilliant expressions...he has left an amazing amout of comic work to enjoy for all time...Thanks Jim...God bless your family and frineds at this sad time.

Gordon Bell's version of The Wild Rovers normally drawn by Ken H Harrison from Nutty comic 1982

There's less detail and less dogs..though great expressions..But its interesting to can see Gordon preferred drawing dogs with short legs like in Pup Parade...and maybe he had to draw it fast for a deadline?

Ken sure does a lot of detail and more panels...they are both good in different ways...
